High But Not Too Bad

Fished the salmon today. It was up and discolored, but not unfisheable. After looking we (my father and I) went to a small wild trout stream. Salmon par and a few wild brows were caught.

We returned to the Salmon in hopes of a spinner fall. The bugs were there but did not dance. Some trout were rising to emerging caddis. One good sized brown took my Copper John on the swing. I swung and missed. Changing to a Partridge and Orange I was able to scrounge up on pretty little bow. As darkness fell we left the river, talking about returning when the water is clear and lower.
