Opening Day Aproaches

Oh, that dreaded day when the white bucket hoard invades, some who buy a license just to fish for a few short hours, and wreak havoc on the trout streams. If you are into combat fishing yo may dare to brave the crowd down stream of the Rt. 16 bridge of the Salmon, but, if you are like me you will probably try to find a small stream with wild fish and  no annoying crowds. That being said a few friends and I will be out on the big river on Sunday, when the crowd should be smaller, the water a little lower and warmer, and perhaps the fish will be more willing to come to streamers. But Saturday, that will be devoted to small streams.

  1. Yes I agree, avoid the crowds at all costs. It can just make for a bad day. That's why we go so far on opening weekend, "TO AVOID"
Tie, fish, write and photo on...
