Farmington Streamer Prep

I'm going to the Farmington Tomorrow. The weather promises to be a total pain in the ass. Wind to 20 mph, high of 43 degrees and a windchill of 31! At least the wind direction is out of the NW, a direction that tends not to put the fish off. East/south winds = mediocre fishing. The fish are in streamer mode! I'll be gloved up, wadered up, and wearing four or five layers of clothing, throwing BIG streamers on my brand new sinking tip line...

  3. OK, sounds like you are ready to deal with the elements. The weather is always a fly fisherman's challenge. GO-GET-UM!

  5. I hope you like the sink tip. It should help get your streamers down a little deeper in some of those bigger pools. Good luck!
