Hunting for Golden Pond Shiners in the Rain

Today seemed like good conditions to fish for rudd or golden shiners. They were, but I didn't catch any of those. I did get a bunch of bluegills and some redbreast sunfish. Unfortunately the big minnow species are not as common as the panfish and I didn't have the patience to put up with the rain and the cold for too long.

  2. I agree, fishing in the rain is not bad, unless it's cold. It gets to you after a while.
Tie, fish, write and photo on...

    1. Thanks,
It is. It's even worse when it is windy.
