In all likelyhood brown trout would be the most likely to establish themselves, the hold over very often. Are there coldwater refuges during summer that could be protected? The survivor-strain program in the farmington is intriguing. Im from Rhode Island (currently living in NYC) and there was a recent dam removal on the Pawcatuck that I hope will allow more herring and shad upstream beginning this year. Are there similar passage issues/opportunities on the Salmon?
