A Tiny Nymph

Today one of the flies to tie was a small nymph pattern used during hatches. It is on a size 20, unweighted. The tails, legs, and wing case are pheasant flank, the body peacock quill, and the abdomen chicken poop feather dubbing.

Unfortunately it snowed again last night, and it ended up being chilly and breezy today.

    1. Bits of the fuzzy material from the plumulacious section of a hackle feather. Not sure if that is the correct term for it, but that is what I have always heard it called.
