On Wednesday I planned to spend that and the next afternoon/evening on the warm water. The first session I was bitten by the skunk. There was a carp that I probably could have caught, and follows from bass. Nothing felt right though, and I knew I would end the day with slack lines. The next day things felt better. I stalked carp in the pads for a while, but this is never an easy task. Here is my position:
Later on I picked the shoreline for panfish with mulberry flies. They did the trick, I caught a couple bluegill and crappie. Later on I caught both of CT's black bass on the evening top water bite. All in all, a good two days. This weekend the goal is to get in on the morning carp action again.
