For the Love of Panfish

Most people are annoyed when panfish are nipping at there flies. Those little monsters will take anything, even a huge popper that clearly wasn't going to fit in there mouth anyway. But I love them. The are pretty, feisty, wonderful sport, and just as varied in coloration as trout. Don't be so quick to bash the Sunnies and Perch. They are fun to catch, especially on flies. I personally can't wait to be using my three weight and size 14 deer hair poppers to lure in some monster Bluegills and Pumpkinseeds this spring.
