This time I brought a friend to the fishing hole. He is a character, he fly fishes (to an extent) but is by no means a trout fisherman. When we go trout fishing I tell him to wear natural colors... and he comes in florescent orange. He is still my fishing partner, we've chased all manner of species in all manner of places.
Anyway, he decided to use lures the whole time, and it payed off. He landed the best crappie I have seen from that pond as well as bass and bluegill. After catching the same I finally got on the bullheads. Of course I again failed to get any big boys, but they were fun.
