Unfortunate Loss

Some of you who have commented on my blog before may have seen comments from "Atlas". He was one of the first people to consistently read and comment on my blog other than family and friends. He just seemed like an all around nice guy, and a skilled fly fisherman. Just the kind of guy I would enjoy spending a day on the river with. He kept a very nice blog called The Rogue Outdoors. If you haven't checked it out do it now: atlasfishing.blogspot.com. I always enjoy reading his posts.

I was startled today to read today on Pond Stalker that he has passed away. He was still a young man. My condolences go out to his friends and family.
I regret not being able to meet him.

  1. Thanks for mentioning my blog post today. Sometimes life is hard to understand. Bryan (Atlas) was the kind of reader I really enjoyed on my blog. Not only did he take from my blog, he gave back to my blog with his love of fly fishing. We have lost a fine young man.......................

  3. That's horrible news. My last post about a week ago was actually a thanks to Atlas for describing a specific fly. Very sad for his family. Such a generous guy. Shocking.

    1. I hope he saw your post. I also hope the fly in question catches you a big trout.
