60 Pound Grass Carp

This is always what happens: I always end up going somewhere where I can't fish, without any gear, and I see something that has been on my wish list for a long time. Yesterday I was crossing a bridge in Busch Gardens (it's a school trip, I would never have gone there voluntarily) and looked into the river and saw a 60 pound grass carp munching on insects and algae on the side of a log. It was amazing. I have never seen a freshwater fish that size in the wild before, and if I could have a guarantee I could have caught it in just a couple of casts. We were also staying in a hotel right on  Chesapeake Bay and I'm sure there are a few fish in the surf, but I couldn't do anything about that. I'm on my way home now though, and because it will be pretty close to 80 degrees tomorrow I am going to fish like a madman.
