Little Rhody

Rhode Island, despite it's small size and poor management of wild trout fisheries, is a beautiful state. I was going to try to fish for stripers there today, but most of the time was spent on the road, not on the water. And anybody that shore fishes for stripers this time of year in RI will tell you that you need to put your time in. I was just not able to do that today. I had a good time regardless, but I hope all the beach goers that clogged up every exit did not.
Happy 4th everybody!

    1. There you go again.... at least you didn't call a fish a stripper this time!

  2. Glad you got to visit RI and chase the species it is famous unlike myself as I prefer to chase its lesser known gems. Hope you have better luck next time! I want to catch a striper this summer, but I don't seem very motivated to do so, so we'll see how that turns out.
