As we had planned Dalton and I returned to fish Moodus reservoir. once again I cast flies to fish in shallow weedy areas. My first fly was the black Pot Belly Frog. I fished a point, and at farther most grass patch recieved a tremendous hit, clearly visible was an enormous bass. He swam of trailing my fly and a few inches of leader. Some little imperfection had gone unnoticed.
Not to worry, It was not long before I was back in the game. We both used top water, landing fish well into the night. Some were fairly nice.
A nice bunch of lure grabers. Looks like a great place to fish, day or night.
