Snapper Blues With Dad

The photos tell the story quite well, (Thanks, Malachi). During the outgoing tide today my dad and I had some awesome light gear salt water action. In one spot there was about ten minutes of absolute craziness. Little blues were going insane. We caught tons on flies like shad darts, caddis emergers, and clousers. If it had some sparkle and moved fast it got eaten.

Oh, congrats Dad, on your first saltwater fish on the fly rod!

  1. CT, that pic of you and your dad... Man. Save it. 20, 30, 40, 50 years from now, it will be a gift! Awesome to see a bit of your awesome adventure together today.

  2. That was so much fun! Even with the nasty little bite on my finger. I can't wait for 2 weeks from now when the blues are even bigger and nastier. Thanks for sharing the good times! :)
