Stillwater Trout

I have never had luck with trout on stillwaters, particularly one nearby where flies can't be cast far from shore. But put two skilled anglers in kayaks, one with spinners and the other streamers in there, and stocked rainbow trout will fly. I have always wanted to try a kayak in that pond,  I just knew it was the ticket. The bows took the red and yellow bucktail with force, and preformed great acrobatics. Two crappies also took the fly.

  1. Beautiful coloration in that fish, and I'd recognize your hand anywhere! Gram
