As much as I love severe weather this storm is a scary one. It's making a mess of the NJ coast in areas that damaged by Sandy and dumped a crap load of snow on D. C. and the surrounding areas. Here it is very windy and we already have enough snow for my taste. I haven't been outside since yesterday, mostly because I don't have much of my snow gear here... but I was able to get a bit of tying done.
Keeping busy...and keeping the faith.
ReplyDeleteThere is warmth and a good runoff on the way!
DeleteIt was a tying kind of day for sure!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah. still kicking here with a few last bands of moderate snow.
DeleteNo worries Mark, we've all got a lot of tying days left this winter.
ReplyDeleteWinter sucks around here sometimes. And yet I still love it...
DeleteNice ties, and a good day for it. We were on the edge of the storm and got 8". That's enough, I'm ready for Spring. Have to get through Feb. yet. "uuuugh"
ReplyDeleteTie, shovel, fish, write and photo on...
I ended up getting like 7 or 8 inches from this storm...definitely a lot more than the dusting they were predicting a few days ago. What did you end up with? The warm days ahead should melt most of this snow, but the streams will certainly be running very cold as a result. Good luck staying busy.
ReplyDeleteWhere I was in Essex was 4 to 6 inches, here it is 8.
